The Large Print Collection

The LBPH Large Print collection consists of popular fiction and non-fiction titles and is available to browse Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There are additional large print books located on the main level of the Main Library.

LBPH books may be borrowed with a valid library card from any of The Saint Clair County Library System branches; Algonac, Burtchville, Capac, Ira, Kimball, Marine City, Marysville, Memphis, Port Huron, St. Clair, and Yale. They may be borrowed for four weeks and may be renewed for another four weeks if there are no reserves on them.

Large print books may be returned to any St. Clair County Library System branch. Reserves may be placed on any large print title by using the online catalog at any branch, from home, or anywhere else with a Web connection.

Patrons may be registered for both National Library Service Talking Books and large print.  St. Clair County residents may be registered users of both the public library and LBPH service.

Homebound patrons in St. Clair County who qualify (see eligibility requirements) may be certified to receive print books and commercial audio books by mail free of charge.
