Code of Federal Regulations 
This is the annual edition of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by departments and agencies of the Federal Government.

Michigan Child Support Formula Manual 
As part of its responsibilities, the Friend of the Court Bureau developed a formula guideline for figuring child support obligation amounts. The law requires courts to use this formula when setting or changing child support obligations. The child support formula is reviewed and changed periodically and its figures updated for economic changes. When these changes occur, the bureau issues a new Michigan Child Support Formula Manual. Michigan's guideline consists of the manual and its most current supplement or schedules.

The Michigan Rules of Court are the rules adopted by the Michigan Supreme Court to govern Michigan's legal system and the judges, lawyers, and other professionals who are charged with preserving the integrity of that system.

Michigan Judicial Institute Benchbooks 
The Michigan Judicial Institute (MJI) Publications Team is primarily responsible for revising and updating in-house publications. Updates occur every January, May, and September. Revisions occur on a rotating basis and with the assistance of an editorial advisory committee.

The Model Civil Jury Instructions are concise, understandable, conversational, unslanted, and not argumentative.

The criminal jury instructions accurately inform jurors about the legal process in which they will participate and the law that they are to apply in an understandable, conversational, and unbiased manner.

Michigan Sentencing Guidelines Manual 
This sentencing guidelines manual has been prepared as an aid for those who use the guidelines enacted by the Michigan Legislature. The manual is intended to reflect with complete accuracy the substance of the law. However, in the event that the manual fails to comport exactly with the law, remember that the statute is the controlling authority.
