A Sudden Light - an evening with author Garth Stein

In honor of National Library Week (April 9-15) and our 100th anniversary year, the St. Clair County Library System is proud and pleased to present The Art of Racing in the Rain author, Garth Stein.  Mr Stein will be appearing at the Blue Water Convention Center on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 with his presentation starting at 6:30 pm.

Garth Stein is the author of five novels, two children’s picture books, and an award-winning play. The Art of Racing in the Rain remained on the New York Times bestseller list for four years and has been selected for dozens of community Reads programs across the country. It has become a beloved contemporary classic.

The Art of Racing in the Rain is a heart-wrenching but deeply funny and ultimately uplifting story of family, love, loyalty, and hope, The Art of Racing in the Rain is a beautifully crafted and captivating look at the wonders and absurdities of human life… Garth lives in Seattle with his family. Mr. Stein will be doing a presentation, Q & A, and book signing.
